How does the SaunaPod work?

The SaunaPod works by heating water to create steam, which increases the moisture and temperature of the air.

What are the operating costs for using the SaunaPod at home?

A typical SaunaPod session, lasting approximately 30 minutes, incurs an estimated power cost of about 20 pence.

How hot does the SaunaPod get?
+

The SaunaPod heats usually operates at a temperature of 45-50 degrees celsius. The high humidity can make the temperature feel much closer to 90 degrees

What are the benefits of using the SaunaPod?
+

The SaunaPod offers several health benefits, such as improving circulation, aiding in muscle relaxation, reducing stress, helping to clear the sinuses, improving skin health, and promoting better sleep.

It varies depending on the individual, but generally, 15-20 minutes is a good starting point. It's important to listen to your body and step out if you start to feel uncomfortable.

How do I clean it?

The inside of the heat insulated cover is designed to help prevent mould and bacteria build up. A quick dry & machine washable absorbent sweat mat for the bottom of the sauna is included in every order. After use, we recommended leaving the door flap open to air and wiping down the water vapor on the inside walls

Are the SaunaPod materials toxic when heated?

The SaunaPod is made of premium-grade polyester with no toxic materials. The SaunaPod's inner and outer material is polyester taffeta, which is a plain weave of polyester fibers. Between the inner and outer is a layer of cotton which is laser pressed together. The fabric was chosen to ensure it is safe.

Can I use it indoors & outdoors?

The SaunaPod can be used both indoors and outdoors. Although weather-proof, we recommend packing up the SaunaPod and bringing it inside in extreme conditions.

How long should I spend in the SaunaPod?
+

It varies depending on the individual, but if you are using the SaunaPod on a more moderate heat level up to 30 minutes is recommended. At higher, more  intense heat, we recommended no longer than 15-20 minutes.  It's important to listen to your body and step out if you start to feel uncomfortable.

What's the difference between steam sauna and dry sauna?

A steam sauna is high in humidity and has lower temperatures, while a dry sauna is low in humidity and higher temperature.

The steam sauna has many added benefits including

Skin Hydration: Steam saunas are excellent for hydrating the skin. The moisture can open up the pores, helping to cleanse the skin and potentially reducing acne.

> Joint and Muscle Relaxation: The warm, moist heat can be beneficial for relieving tension in the muscles and joints
Deep Sweat:  The high humidity environment causes a deeper sweat which may help cleanse the skin, potentially improving its appearance

Can I use the SaunaPod if I have a medical condition?

If you have a medical condition such as heart disease, low or high blood pressure, or are pregnant, it's recommended to consult with a healthcare provider before using the SaunaPod.

Can I add essential oils to my sauna?
+

Yes, however it is extremely important that essential oils are NOT added to the external steam chamber. This will result in malfunction of the steam chamber.

The oils should only be added to the small circular steam device located inside the sauna tent

How many people can comfortably fit inside the SaunaPod?

The SaunaPod is designed for one person when seated.

How should I clean the steam chamber?
+

After the steamer has cooled down, simply wipe it dry to maintain cleanliness.
Limescale build in the steamer can occur if the steamer is not wiped down after use. Using a solution of water and vinegar to remove those stains is recommended. This can be effective in cleaning and removing residue.

What is the weight limit for the portable chair in the SaunaPod?

The portable chair in the SaunaPod has a weight limit of approximately 225 pounds or 102 kilograms.

Do you offer returns?
+

Of course! Return it within 30 days in sellable condition and you will be refunded in full minus the return postal charge.

If returns are due to faults, sufficient documentation should be sent.

Your ice bath should be dispatched within 1 business day of ordering and delivered 1-3 business days later

Do you offer returns?
+

Yes we offer returns up to 90 days after receiving your VITAL+ product (as long as the product has not been used or damaged and is in its original packaging).

For hygienic and safety reasons, we will not accept returns if the product has been used


If returns are due to faults, sufficient documentation should be sent.

Do VITAL+ products come with a warranty?

Yes, the VITAL+ Chiller and SaunaPod come with a 1-year full warranty

Warranty Policy - Chiller

If your chiller encounters any such issues within a year from the purchase date, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost.

Warranty Claims:

 Replacement Parts at No Extra Charge: If your water chiller encounters a defect or malfunction, we'll supply the needed replacement parts and instructions for repair without any additional cost. Please be aware, this offer does not cover damages due to regular use, misuse, or accidental handling.

WARRANTY
LIMITATIONS 

This Limited Warranty is void if: the Manufacturer or its designated representative determines that the chiller has been subjected to alteration, neglect, misuse or abuse, or freight damage caused by the common carrier; any repairs have been attempted by anyone other than a designated representative; or if the failure is caused by accident, acts of God or other causes beyond the control of the Manufacturer. Neglect, misuse and abuse include any installation, operation or maintenance of the chiller other than in accordance with the instructions contained in the owner’s manual provided with the chiller, including but not limited to the failure to maintain proper water chemistry and chemical balance and the use of abrasive or improper cleaners or non-genuine parts and accessories. The chiller owner accepts liability for repair work performed by anyone other than the Manufacturer or a designated representative

 

The limited warranty is also voided if proper maintenance as per the instructions are not kept. This include monthly filter changes, poor water chemistry and maintenance, or other forms of neglect. The chiller's warranty is ultimately voided if 2 months without filter change goes by, or if the chiller is left with stagnant water inside for 6+ months without being turned on.

 

The chiller warranty also do not cover damage caused by freezing conditions.
It is the customers responsibility to not leave the chiller outside in freezing conditions, as this can break the pipes and water tank of the chiller. We always recommend emptying the chiller from water by disconnecting the hoses and tipping it to let water drain out, and thereafter storing it inside in non-freezing conditions until needed again. The purpose of the chiller is to operate in warmer temperatures, to keep your water cold, and there's no need to have your chiller connected to the Ice Bath, when it's freezing conditions outside, as your water will maintain the cold temperatures needed naturally.

The liability of
the Manufacturer under this limited warranty, if any, shall not exceed the original amount paid for the defective product. Coverage under this limited warranty shall commence as of the original date of purchase and the duration of such coverage shall not extend for any reason whatsoever beyond the stated time periods. These disclaimers shall be equally applicable to any service provided by the Manufacturer and its designated representatives.

At Vital+,we are committed to ensuring the highest quality and customer satisfaction with our products. We stand behind the craftsmanship and reliability of our portable steam sauna, The SaunaPod, and offer a comprehensive 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. Please read the following warranty policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.

Warranty Coverage: Our warranty covers any manufacturing defects and technical malfunctions for the following components of the SaunaPod: the Steam chamber unit, heat-insulated frame cover, fiberglass frame, bottom sweat mat, and chair.

Warranty Exclusions: The warranty will be void if the customer does not strictly follow the instructional manual provided with the SaunaPod. It is crucial to thoroughly read and follow the instruction manual to ensure proper usage and maintenance. Failure to do
so may prevent the customer from availing the 1-year warranty.

The warranty will also be void if any of the above-mentioned components are broken
or damaged due to mishandling, improper usage, or failure to read and adhere to
the full instruction manual.

Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim, the customer must provide proof of purchase and notify SaunaPod within the
warranty period. Please contact our customer support team through support@getvitalplus.com
to initiate the warranty claim process.

If a covered component is found to have a manufacturing defect or technical
malfunction, we will either repair or replace the affected part, at our discretion, free of charge.

Limitations: Please note that our warranty does not cover damages resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, alterations, unauthorized repairs, or any damages caused by factors beyond our control.

Our warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the
SaunaPod.

What is the process of returning the product?

We offer returns up to 90 days after receiving your VITAL+ product (as long as the product has not been used or damaged and is in its original packaging)

If your return is accepted, you will need to send the product back to us, at your own expense in its original packaging (undamaged, original condition ready for resale).
